We received the typical "here are your keys" welcome message from VRBO 3 days before arriving, and were told that the host would be contacting us with the door key code. When my family and I arrived at the house around 6pm, we still hadn't received a key code, so we called the host directly and found out VRBO had double booked their home without telling them and we couldn't stay there, even though ten months earlier we had paid in full for four nights and had received confirmation of our booking from VRBO. We were left stranded with zero help from VRBO. We ended up booking hotel rooms in the area on our own.
