"We were so pleased to find this house. It had everything we needed for ourselves and 3 dogs. It was close to our Agility trial at Dogs NSW in Orchard Hills, so very convenient. The house is older, but we were so pleased when we walked in the door and there were no unpleasant odours. The bathroom is small, but is spotlessly clean. We felt right at home, and our dogs loved the big yard. Thank you so much for sharing your house."

"An open-plan, sun-lit house, with ample space for large groups. Our teens and 18+ kids enjoyed to fooz ball and snooker table. We brought our own food and geoceries cause there aren't any stores nearby. Having free access to Netflix and other apps on the TV was great, and loved the Anchor restaurant right at the door of the property. "Australia Day weekend 2025. Me and my wife and our 2 Cavoodles stayed and enjoyed the house and the area. The house is in the tree tops. There are steep stairs to get to the front door but if you're able bodied won't be a problem. Rustic, tons of kitchenware and basic pantry staples. Huge deck overlooking the bush to your left and the river to your right. Would like to stay again."

"We had our entire bridal party parents and grandparents all stay together for an overnight stay only minutes away from our wedding venue the weather was so cold and unpredicted in the middle of summer this accommodation had a fireplace in both the lodge and cottage and kept us warm all night we enjoyed our stay I can highly recommend this accommodation very comfortable and clean thank you to our host for your extremely efficient communication throughout the entire process "

"We booked this from the US as we needed lodging close to our daughter’s wedding venue (St Joseph’s Guesthouse). The property exceeded our expectations. Drew and Kerrie were excellent hosts and able to accommodate our request for an extra night. "

"The house is a good location, close to the Metro at Rouse Hill. Otherwise, it's awful. It was dirty, with hair and the previous guests' cleaning products left in the smelly bathrooms. We found used cleaning products left around the house. The beds were not properly made, and the linen was not clean. There were eight towels (most of them stained) for ten guests. The bath mats were sticky and dirty. I had to visit Kmart at 11pm to get enough clean linen for us to sleep. We found a vape under one...

"Booked this house for a weekend away with some friends and it was a great little spot! Pool is a great addition and very relaxing atmosphere. River is beautiful but a giant walk down/up the hill and there’s a space to bbq and a fire down there too. There were some small issues with bed arrangements and keys But they were resolved immediately by the host and their lovely cleaner. Pretty isolated from everything so bring all you need for your stay for max relaxation. "

"Terrific property, particularly for larger family groups. Close to lots of different areas in the mountains for walks and drew us to explore places we wouldn’t normally consider on previous stays. Close to the train for those without a car. As property description makes clear, highway is at the front of property however sleeping areas at the rear. "
