I didn’t like hearing someone tromp back and forth above the ceiling in the mornings and fairly late at night. One of the reasons that I avoid hotels is to NOT have to listen to the noise of others. "The pros of this VRBO are it's beautiful and quiet location. Initially it was confusing about which house we were renting because of 3 cars in the driveway and outside lights on. A phone call to the owner quickly cleared up the fact that we were renting the top half of the house and the vehicles were his. It was a little depressing to find a Christmas tree still up in the living room, sticky wood kitchen cabinets full of old vitamins, spices... and a variety of unnecessary clutter that detracted...
