"This motel is right in town which is fantastic. The 2 bedroom place was clean and spacious. We were downstairs and there was quite a bit of noise from the people upstairs, which was annoying."

"Thank you for a great stay in Whangamata. We found this property a really cool bach, with everything our family needed. It was clean, tidy, well-equipped and comfortable. It was also safe for our young family and dog.Great communication and flexibility by the owner too.Thank you!"

"Liz was an excellent host, the property was presented beautifully and nice little extras. Her home is all lit up so lovely when sitting out in the Summer House at night. Walking distance to Beach, Shops and Town. Enjoyed our stay."

It looks like a nice small town. We ate dinner at the Fishing Club, where we had a nice meal at a reasonable price (after paying the $5 membership fee) while enjoying the view of the water.
