"Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. We found the pamphlet on the last day. Tairua is awesome, not has busy as Whiti or Pauanui but still has...

The location is perfection if you want to walk across a local road for a morning swim/body surf, if you want to watch people gather with their shovels and start digging at low tide for hot water, if you want an exquisite 45 min walk along a nearly deserted cove. "We had a really great stay at the Onemana Nook! The accomadation was clean and tidy, and a great size for a family of four (with two small children). The beach is great - the waves are big but there's a quieter end which is great for little ones. Our kids loved playing in the sand, exploring the beach, playing on the playground, and climbing up the sand dune on the far end of the beach. We had great weather and got an amazing view of the Milky Way from the deck at night. This is a great location...
