This property was well suited to a large group with lots of places to hang out and plenty of supplies. We enjoyed the garden when the sun came out and walked into tow with our kids.
We were a group of two families (three kids in each) staying at this rental and it was excellent. House was as described in the listing. Easy walk to the beach and we also visited Lodmoor Park which is also a very short walk. Walking distance to shops and restaurants also but it is nice quiet street.
Very comfortable house and well equipped in general but could just do with a few more baking trays in the kitchen. I did really enjoy our stay there with my three children, their partners and my five grandchildren (aged from 4 months to 8 years). Weymouth is a lovely seaside resort and there is a lot to do nearby.
Had a wonderful week. The property was huge as was the garden. The range in the huge kitchen was a delight to use.
There was 11 of us and we loved being there. Quiet area but close to the town and beach. Sky tv which was great for the kids on rai y days.

Good for groups
This is a good place to stay for large families or groups, who want separate rooms. The house and garden are spacious and comfortable. You can sit a big group round dining table, garden table or sitting room (4 sofas!).
It's nicely decorated and furnished, but feels slightly unloved (blinds and fake plants think with dust, bathroom door which jams, floorboards which clonk in the night). The plus side of that is that it's not so pristine that a family need feel tense about the slightest spill.
Overall, would recommend. If you get good weather, you're just 5-10 mins walk from the beach and have a nice garden to sit out in.

Weymouth Family Holiday
Upon arrival at the property we found the property to smell of stale cooking, had to clean toilets, wash the cutlery, pans, crockery etc. The bedding was off white & the kitchen was very outdated.
During the stay the rubbish was not collected, there were no instructions on amenities in the property, there were no games to help with rainy days & entertaining small children. The floor boards were creaky. There was dust on the skirting and doors, they needed washing down etc etc. The sweeping brush, mop & bucket were in a disgusting state and had to ask for replacements.
If cleaners are sent in after each stay, a full inspection needs to be carried out as it really was not clean.
Given the price that was paid we were very disappointed.

Lovely house ,was very warm when we arrived .very clean and all we needed for a lovely stay .The only thing I’d say is the picture that is on website showing you the beautiful garden seating area ,is a very old picture as it certainly doesn’t look like that now. But didn’t effect our stay as the house itself was lovely
This is a lovely spacious, well equipped house which felt very homely. We were able to get around by bus and walking easily and there was lots to do in and around Weymouth - too much for one week. It was a lovely walk into Greenhill and on into Weymouth but a little too far for my elderly mother to do often. We found a very helpful and reliable taxi firm. There was an initial problem with some areas of the house not having been cleaned well - the deep clean jobs and a faulty light and broken floorboard. The owner responded immediately, fixed the light and board and offered the cleaning company to come in and clean. We didn’t need that as we’d dealt with the issues ourselves. He kindly gave us a couple of bottles of wine by way of an apology. Overall we had a really lovely stay and would recommend the property.

Could do better
A spacious comfortable house with a lovely garden which would benefit from some attention.
Instructions regarding rubbish disposal would have been useful.
And the rubbish left by the previous tenants should have been cleared away before we arrived.
There was a general lack of information regarding heating, etc. There were no shaver points anywhere which meant we had to buy one and quite a few of the fans didn’t work in the bathrooms.
I asked for the twin beds to be made into a double and this wasn’t done.
Number 6 is a spacious property ideal for a group of family or friends to share. It is a short walk to the beach (5 - 10 mins) and the garden has a comfortable seating area.
We would love to pay a return visit!
The photos don’t do the size of the property justice! There were 9 of us staying for a long w/e, not once did it feel cramped. Lovely big kitchen joined to the dining room that made cooking very sociable. The kids loved the bunk beds and garden. Will def use again.
We all had a great time while staying here. Location is perfect and is very close to the beach. We just wish we went in the summer!
Everyone had fun.
Thank you Casey.
We absolutely loved the property, even with 10 of us staying there was loads of space with excellent facilities and only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again, thank you!
We had a great week and enjoyed our stay at St George’s Avenue. The children particularly enjoyed “their” room including the bunk beds. Perhaps it would have been nice to have few more games, toys or even DVDs as we have experienced in previous properties but this did not detract from the quality of the property and the facilities provided. Thank you Casey.
