"This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful gite. The property itself has been beautifully and sympathetically renovated and provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for a big group. Everything that we needed was provided (just had to bring hand soap for the basins in the bedrooms). The towels and bedlinens were very good quality and the beds were extremely comfortable. "We share the positive reviews of many aspects of this property. It's very spacious (although the swing of some doors cause odd pinch points). We were only three, and would have used only the ground floor but for an issue (see later). The kitchen is well equipped, the induction stovetop was great to cook on. The location is properly noted, but Marie's L'épicerie in the village was closed for August vacation. (Which I imagine is an annual event.) That meant we needed to drive 6+ km for morning...

Excellent!

"This is a hotel as it should be! I had a very nice and quiet room with a comfortable bed, a good shower and a water kettle for tea. The staff was super friendly and helpful, plus there is parking just in front of the door. I didn't try the breakfast but it looked good too. All in all this was an excellent stopover during a long journey. Thank you! ✨"

"Fantastic service - employees were incredibly helpful and prompt to answer any questions / provide items for the stay (ie requested body lotion for the room, was delivered 5 minutes later!). Room was cozy and comfortable - great location as well (less than 15 minute walk to train station)"

Perfect location

"The location of hotel could not be more central. It's right in the middle of everything. The building is loaded with charm, and some quirks due to it's era, yet is has been modernized in the areas that are important - the bathrooms. We've stayed here several times and it is always our first choice when staying in Colmar."
