This home on Lost Lake is located on a beautiful, peaceful lake. It is pretty private other than the occasional passing boat. The road out to it does turn into a gravel/dirt road. The house itself was clean, however we had a terrible experience out of the water during our stay. When we arrived, we noticed that the water was visibly brown, had a metal-smell, and had very little pressure. While we don't necessarily expect conditions in rental homes to be the same as our own homes, we do expect to at least have clean water and enough pressure to rinse the soap off your body in the shower. We reached out to the host and a plumber was brought in the next day. He removed a clogged filter, but was unable to replace it with a new one. Removing the clog did give us enough pressure to get by, but still left the water brown and smelly. A new filter had to be ordered, leaving us with those water conditions the remainder of our trip. We understand that things happen suddenly, that's part of life, however we did get the impression that we were brushed off after that point with the water, outside of an apology. With paying $400 a night to stay here, we at very least would expect some sort of reparation for the unsanitary water (offer to help us find another place to stay, offer a partial refund, or even just offer to buy us a couple gallons of clean water for basic needs such as rinsing a toothbrush). We wanted to love this home, but unfortunately the water conditions did put a damper on th
