"Just stayed at Ivor‘s house on the shores of Clew Bay and it was brilliant. The photos in the listing don’t really do it justice as the space available to you is huge. All the facilities are spot-on. There were a few goodies for us in the fridge when we arrived and they even put up a Xmas tree as we were there for Xmas. Communication was great. "Very enjoyable once we were able to get access to the property. We were told to contact Karen but no phone number left asking local neighbours did they now any phone numbers and one neighbour new the cleaner and she gave us the code to access the property. For the 4 days we were there nobody contacted us or check if we were even there So check in procedure very poor when you’ve been travelling 13hours"

"Sea for Miles was wonderful, and ideal for a stay with adults and children. The views from the windows are spectacular - sea and mountains. This was probably the best equipped rental house we have stayed in. Lovely big kitchen, open fire, big beds. Our host, Debbie, could not have been more responsive or attentive, and very kind. We were made to feel extremely welcome, and hope to return some time."

"First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We chose this place because we waned private and and countryside. We got it. It was the perfect base for our wanderings in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway and Connemara. My only sugesstion is for clearer...

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
