The tastefully decorated lounge is beautiful and just enticed you in to sit and relax on the sumptuous sofa’s and comfy chairs. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. "There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...

"Great flat local to Gloucester and the docks. Sometimes the out of hours contact was hard to get hold of but that is no way a negative on the flat. Very tidy and clean with all basic items you need."

"This was an excellent choice and it was much better than I expected from the website photographs. The flat is large with lovely light coming into the lounge. Beds were on the firm side, but OK for us. The location is perfect - very close to town, but with a lovely green space in front. The bathroom is a bit dated, but functional - good shower over the bath. Would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Cheltenham in an attractive area."
