"Location was great for skiing at Stratton. Plenty of space for two families that we were not on top of one and other. House was very comfortable. Owner was great providing us details and information we needed for our stay. He was also flexible with our check out time this afternoon. We were so grateful since my husband was not able to ski. We hope to come back again "

"Our stay at the West River Lodge was great! The cabin is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We cooked dinner one of the nights we were there and all we had to bring was the food…the kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and flatware…even a vegetable peeler and can opener! We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Pleasant arrival and departure easy to find and is in a great location feeling like your in nature but not too far from a quaint town. What a peaceful warm setting. The home has some of the nicest touches that make you feel very comfortable and cozy. It is so quiet and yet you don’t feel too isolated! Hiking close by was simple and fun. I can’t wait to come back to explore more of the property after spring has spring. I can totally see hosting a retreat in this type of space and for now my own...

"This cabin was the perfect little spot for a New Years vacation. It’s easy to get to, has parking on site, and is a short drive to get groceries, some shops in town, and more. We loved the nostalgic feel of the appliances and decor, including the retro Nintendo comforter! We cooked all of our meals while here, the stove and oven worked well and there were plenty of pots, pans, etc. The fireplace was easy to use and warmed the entire place well, even during a snowstorm.
