"Was informed 3 days before stay that we would be staying in a different house to listing, which for us was ok. Clean bedding, comfortable beds. However the house although wasn't filthy it wasn't clean. The whole place looked like a family had just "popped out". Clothes hanging on doors, shoes left where they had just taken them off, generally a untidy house."

"Eight members of our family spent a lovely long weekend at Riversdale Lodge to celebrate two 80th birthdays and everyone had a fantastic time. The house is lovely and in a gorgeous setting - we felt totally relaxed immediately on arrival. "The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. Best VRBO! Views amazing!"

"Extremely comfortable home with a great sense of history. I booked for four days to take my four adult children and my teenage grandson away to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. We now have some very happy memories of our stay in Ludlow."

"Clive & Karen were great hosts and gave a us a great welcome. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The bungalow was very clean, tidy, well equipped and in very neat and tidy well kept gardens. If in that part of the country again we will definitely wish to stay there. All in all a very comfortable and quiet stay. Thank you and regards from Graham & Desiree"

"The most gorgeous house and setting. Extremely well equipped kitchen, hot tub and pool a delight. Bedrooms and bathrooms well appointed, modern and fresh. Gardens very attractive lots of places to sit together or to find a quiet spot.Cannot praise it enough, we were three generations who all enjoyed every aspect. Lots to do locally, would love to still be there."

"Arrived, had been given full parking details,this was easy, also key code and this too was easy ,thus an excellent start .Upon entering we immediately felt at home, the house was warm and clean, upon exploring we found a basket of treats, essentials and milk in the fridge all ready for a rest after travelling. "The Stables is such a lovely place to stay. It's got lovely views over the countryside and it's so peaceful. The hot tub was great, there's a log burner (which we didn't need), it's very clean and you can tell the Stables has been converted to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi was excellent and its location is ideal for exploring Monmouthshire or the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend the Stables for any couple."
