Welcome to the Greenhouse!
Originally named the A. Tuttle Inn it was built in 1823, is known far and wide as The Greenhouse because of its siding. In the early 1800s, Westfield was settled mainly by solders who where given property for participating in the American Revolution. The spacious inn has beautiful, hand carved wood work, exposed beams and wood floors. Enjoy 5 acres of country life in the valley on the Cowanesque River. This home has been in our family for over 70 years and we're so excited to share it with you.

Big enough for 4 adult men to have their own bedroom
This was a perfect place for our family stay. We really liked the antiqueness maintained by the owner. Felt like we went back in good old time.
Owner is awesome and super responsive.

You will not want to miss a visit to the Green House
The Green House is located just a hop skip and a jump outside of a quaint mountain town. The scenery is beautiful not to mention the charm and beauty of this spacious historic home. Our family of 10 had more than enough room to both spread out and gather together to spend time relaxing and catching up with one another. Our host was more than accommodating and even made a new can opener mainly appear in the side porch when the one in the kitchen had not been working. The kitchen is so well stocked with both cookware and tableware that it make preparing meals a breeze. When you visit here don’t miss out on the creek behind the house it was a lovely place to spend hours relaxing with the kids and enjoying the myriad of tadpoles that were swimming in the puddle, skipping stones and looking at the wildflowers. When you go to town be careful not to miss the ice cream shop/bookstore. There’s a room in the back with board games we were privileged to enjoy for an evening. The antique shop is amazing and the small grocery store will definitely surprise you with its abundant selection of items. We’re hoping to get back to the Green House in the future.

A Comforting Place to Stay
What a perfect spot for my out of town guests! The historical home had plenty of bed space; the house was casual and comfortable; and lets not forget about the backyard that they enjoyed! They saw a herd of deer one early morning!
In addition, the property manager responded very quickly when my family accidentally locked themselves out. She and her father were simply delightful.

Wedding weekend farmhouse retreat
What a fabulous stay my family and I had while we were in Westfield for my son’s wedding. My daughter’s and I stayed the first night and loved relaxing on the big sectional in the family room. The night of the wedding we had a few unexpected extra guests who came in for the wedding . Their planned accommodations were not as advertised and this farmhouse definitely had the space. Loved our visit.

Home Away From Home!
We love the Greenhouse! This isn’t our first stay and it will not be our last. It is such a comfy house. Westfield, PA is absolutely gorgeous and this house is the perfect home away from home while we are visiting Grandma. The host is absolutely amazing and is super easy to get in touch with. She was a gem to us last year when we left something back at the house, allowing family to go back in and get our things. And she was a gem again this year. I have nothing but happy memories and good things to say about staying here!

Best host with an amazing property!
Let me first say that if youre thinking about booking this place, DO IT! This place is beautiful and the owners are top notch. The check in process was simple, the place is amazing for being 200 yeard old and the property it sits on is just as amazing. This place has everything but your food and clothes. We had anamzing time and the owner responded almost instantly to any questions or concerns we had. She took great care of our request for an ac in the master bedroom to help with my wifes asthma, no questions asked, just made it happen. I wish the property was available for more of our vacation dates this year because we would be back a lot sooner. We will definitely be back! Thanks for an amazing place to spend our time!

Perfect for our needs!
This is an older home with lots of room. You can tell there have been many gatherings and happy memories made over the years. It’s not fancy but has everything you would need for a comfortable relaxing place to stay. Oh the hidden gem out back is BEAUTIFUL! Busy road out front but we didn’t even notice it when inside or out in back of the property. WiFi was great. Communication with host was excellent! She was so accommodating when we asked to add some days. Our dogs LOVED the large open back area to run and play. There are a couple restaurants in town, we really enjoyed the food at Pizza n Stuff, large portions! Overall would recommend this home and go see the sights not to far of a drive away.

What was promised was what you got. And much much more.
The home is a work in progress. If you look at the pictures you can see that. Really what you see is how it is. Now having said that it is a beautiful charming home that I hope to see when it is all done. As for the amenities, well that is were it really shines. Everything but you cloths is there. EVERYTHING! The owner has gone to great extent to cover what ever you could possibility want. The home is clean and very comfortable. Really I can't think of anything that could have improved our stay there.
Thank you so much.

Relaxing
the host had more than ample stock of games and amenities... even for dogs :) I enjoyed reading a book about the gold rush and there are a lot of nice peices that remind you of the olden days and triender amenities... like Alexa, that I forgot to plug back in :)

Cozy Historic Home in beautiful Pennsylvania!
Our family loved our stay in the Green House! It is an incredibly cozy 200 year old home. It was the very first Inn in Westfield which makes it even cooler for history nerds like myself and my husband. The home was stocked with everything we needed and a whole lot more. There are games and puzzles and anything you’d need for babies and children. It is conveniently located close to town yet feels like you’re enjoying the country. The river running through the property is just gorgeous and we loved taking our dogs for a stroll to the river and back. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day! The host was amazing and very accommodating, can’t wait to stay in the Green House again!

Roomy house, comfortable beds, quick response from host, excellent WiFi. We had a good stay after visiting the Wellsboro ‘Dickens of a Christmas’.
