"We were greeted on arrival by lovely staff and given a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Our room was large and bright with a huge en-suite (with one bath and one shower). The hotel was very clean, tastefully decorated, and offered a competitively-priced breakfast, which was HOT, and one of the best we've had at any hotel. da Vinci is a 1 minute walk from Devonshire Park Theatre, and 10 minutes walk from the town centre. "

"One of the many good things about The View in Eastbourne is that it has a number of single rooms, and they represent particularly good value for money. Also, great sea views, friendly and helpful staff, nice food, good value, and very clean. My only negative experience is only a minor one. It's just a bit fiddly if you want breakfast in your room - you have to go to reception to get a little form to indicate your order, and then give it back to reception for them to take it from there. No such forms in the rooms, and no option to hook the form on your door for the night porter to collect the form and give it to the kitchen. Perhaps if you scan the code on the leaflet in the room it gets simpler, but I got a message on my phone saying it was out of date. Overall a great stay though, and the restaurant is very spacious if you want a quiet table for breakfast. "
