"Fontush had all the things one would want in a hotel, helpful staff, clean rooms, a decent breakfast, updated fixtures. And it also had a fridge, balcony and crisp sheets. It is just a few blocks from center but situated perfectly between center and Ivano Frankivsk's Kanatnyy Park. "Friendly reception. Hotel still really breaths the Soviet style, but is in a relatively good condition. So quite interesting. Good bed, shower and clean room. So no problem there. We were traveling with a dog and although their policy is to not allow big dogs, they didn’t make a problem for our medium sized Aussie. Parking was free and also no extra charge for the dog. "It was a mixed bag as far as the stay. The upside; location was convenient, the view was great, and the service ( Ola ) was above average and very much appreciated as she did everything possible to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable.
