"This is a relatively tough review to write as Bethel is not London nor is is Paris. Bethel is remote Alaska which means that the entire area is austere, to say the least. The River House is perfect for that setting. I was there during and ice storm and a blizzard (one followed the other). The hotel was clean, warm, dry, comfortable and well stocked in its kitchens. It was quiet and everything worked well. Put simply, it was perfect for what it needed to be. I am certain I will stay there again when I go back to Bethel."

"Clean, comfortable and cozy and in a very convenient location within the heart of historic Nome. We were up for several days doing business for a mining client, and this space was perfect for us to both work and relax in after each day. Wi-fi was excellent, as promised. Very responsive to a question we had about how to access the lock; overall would definitely plan on staying here again next year. "
