Room was ok nothing special. Unfortunately the room was prepared for one person not two. We requested extra pillow but didn't notice untill we went for shower there was only one towel then noticed one cup one bottle water one biscuit etc all very mean considering the 200pound per night cost
Very nice hotel, most convenient at Biggin Hill Airport, the restaurant even if it does not have a big menue, the food is of high quality and from scratch, something to be appreciated. If having any business in the airport with any facility there, look no further.
First impression excellent. However, on checking in I was asked to swipe a credit card. When I asked why, as the booking was prepaid, the receptionist was unable to explain why this was necessary except to say that it was 'hotel policy'. When I objected to giving my credit card she said that I would not be allowed entry to the hotel unless I gave my credit card - despite having pre-paid. Couldn't be bothered to argue further but not happy. Went to the restaurant for dinner. There were not enough menus - I had to wait until other guests had ordered. Limited menu but food was adequate when it arrived but mayonnaise served in plastic pre-pack. Having ordered a gin & tonic they were unable to supply an ordinary tonic - only flavoured tonic. What kind of bar doesn't have standard tonic? Trying too hard to be 'boutique' and falling short on the detail
