"From receiving the arrival details to leaving the property at the end of our stay, we couldn’t fault a single thing. Hilda was informative regarding the check in procedure, there were biscuits crisps and pop on the table for us, and the house was lovely and warm. "We were disappointed when we arrived because the house hadn’t been heated. It was 14 degrees and we had to spend the evening in the kitchen with our coats on to keep warm. It wasn’t obvious how to change the heating so it reached 16 degrees maximum and was absolutely freezing at night. We have a 3 month old baby so I spent the night worrying he was too cold. The next day my husband did manage to fix the heating only to find out the pool wasn’t heated much to the kids disappointment. The...

"This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. "

"We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund."

"Loved our stay very clean and cosy ! Best bed ever and beautiful inside from top to bottom. Close to centre 10 min walk perfect Maybe leave a small Complementary gift relevant to the area biscuits maybe As most hotels do this, also needs a full length mirror upstairs rather than in the bottom of the stairs only one very small mirror in second bedroom But other than that we had a fantastic stay "

"Cottage was ok but after booking through hotels.com I was contacted by Host & Stay and advised I had to pay an additional fee for a damage waiver. Alternatively I could pay a deposit but they take an admin fee so you don’t get the full amount back plus they state they may take 14 days to refund."
