This cabin is amazing! The views are spectacular, of the night sky and entire mountain range! If you are looking for a place to stay, this is the place. The host, Laurie was very responsive with any questions I had.
This house is truly beautiful. The wrap around deck was the place we gathered the most. Between the sunrises and sunsets, it provide great views. The house is very well stocked with most everything you could want. It was quiet yet close enough to town. We would highly recommend.
I can’t say enough good things about this place! Laurie is an amazing host who went above and beyond not only for what we needed, but what we wanted. The views are amazing, and it’s so peaceful! We will definitely be coming back!
This place was beautiful! The views, the house, the land! It was so great! I could sit on that porch all day and look at that view! Definitely coming back!
We came to westcliff for a wedding with our grown kids and their partners. The house was stunning and so well laid out for 6 people. Plenty of room and outside space. Thoughtful touches -
Coffee for our arrival and snacks. The host was
So accommodating. We did plenty of star gazing which was amazing. I would rate this place as high and one of the best places we have stayed at. Would love to come back.
The cabin is beautiful and the mountain views are unbeatable! The owner Laurie was very hospitable and attentive to our needs. The cabin is stocked with absolutely everything you would ever need. There was more than enough room for our family of 5. This was truly one of the best family vacations we have ever had!
We had no idea how amazing the view from the porch was at this cabin.... but believe me, we relaxed every night outside enjoying the view. The cabin was well thought out for guests and Laurie was so accommodating! Highly recommend!
We were looking for a quiet vacation- somewhere that we could relax and enjoy a slower pace with our two busy kids. This house spoke to me when I saw it on VRBO. This property did NOT disappoint. The views from both sides of the cabin were phenomenal. The home was clean and comfortable for our stay.
Laurie, the property owner, was incredible leading up to our trip. From sending me a list of things to keep our kids entertained to checking in to make sure things were well during our stay. We couldn’t have worked with a better property owner.
The town of Westcliffe has a lot of great restaurants and shops to entertain. If you’re looking for a getaway with a slower pace, this is the place to stay. However, this property is an easy drive to some fun attractions that were a must see for us. It was the best of both worlds.
Beautiful home in the mountains of Westcliffe. Views all around are amazing, the house is tastefully decorated and well-stocked with linens, towels, food, etc. Short drive to Westcliffe and surrounding areas. Shortcuts to Alamosa are available but they are dirt roads. If you are up for an adventure and don't mind the dirt, take the time to travel. The owner is very responsive and it was evident from the very beginning that she wanted us to have the perfect stay. Beautiful home and well worth the drive!
The whole experience exceded my expectations.
The site photos were not able to capture the beauty of the home, property or the views. We were in awe from the moment we arrived. Laurie was so gracious. She went above and beyond in doing so many things to make sure our stay was comfortable.I can't wait to return. She thought of everything she and Ken were so thoughtful and kind. Thank you both.
I visited with 2 friends to attend the Rad Dirt Fest in Trinidad. It’s a bit of a drive from Trinidad, but we were staying for several days and wanted to be comfortable. The home is at ~8500’, so good for us flatlanders attempting to acclimate.
The home is exceptional and the owner, Laurie, was gracious and accommodating. She made sure we’re were comfortable and that we had everything needed.
The home is well appointed (a lot of snacks too), and the decks, with views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, are awesome! The home and property are quiet and peaceful and just a wonderful place for relaxing getaway.
We made a view visits to Westcliffe for pizza and Italian food, road bikes on the local gravel roads (more great views), and were able to run in solitude right from the door. Great home, terrific owner, and look forward to returning!
To quote my 12 year old son, “this is a vibe!!!” I could not have said it better myself. My wife and I and our 5 sons wanted a weekend of peace and no tech to connect with each other and with the beauty of Colorado. Laurie’s home was the perfect get away. Sandwiched between the Wet Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, this home in the dark sky community of Westcliffe was just what the doctor ordered. The mountain views, the dark skies, and the silence was perfect for our last weekend before school starts. The weekend was filled with hours of reading, deep conversations, and a reminder to each of us what is most important in life (each other!). I will not even try to describe how perfectly situated the home is to take in those views that make CO one of the worlds treasures. Thank you Laurie for sharing your beautiful home in this beautiful location with us. We cannot wait to return.
