Whenever I stay in such remote areas as this, any "inside" recommendations on places to see, recreate, eat, etc are very helpful and would be a welcome addition to the place. "Ideal spot for a family gathering of three couples -- plenty of space; plenty of those small food items you put in refrigerator door (but don't want to buy for just a two night stay). Chris is a very responsive host. And if you come with two EV's, there are two external outlets (both 110v) for slow charging. A bonus. Nearest charger is in the Food Coop parking lot in Viroqua - no charge. "

"If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax"
