We jokingly explained to the owners (Jennifer Griffis and her husband, Brian), this is a very conflicting review to write…only because they have a gem here, and we selfishly don't want the secret about this place to get out! Seriously though, it is a beautiful little getaway. If you want a great place to take a quick hunting trip or have a nice mini vacation, this place checks all the boxes. We spent a few days staying at their cabin and hunting their property. We had a fun and very relaxing time. The cabin has all the amenities you'll need, and it's quaint and cozy. My better half has bow hunted in southern Ohio for the last few years, and this cabin sure beats staying in one of the local hotels/motels, which we will no longer do now that we know this cabin is available. This cabin is not for you if you are looking for posh, upscale, pretentious accommodations. But, if you want to get away, enjoy the fresh air, relax, and breathe... this place is extraordinary. And again, has everything you will need. The cabin is relatively close to the road it's built near, and I have read some reviews that didn't care for that. Maybe some would have an issue with this location, but we did not. It was no bother at all. In fact, we liked it as the random person would drive by and give a friendly wave. As for the owners, they are just salt-of-the-earth types of folks. They were generous and good-natured and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We are happy to think we have made some new friends during our visit too. While the hunting was also excellent (we saw deer every day while there), sadly, the big buck we were hunting did not come in close enough for us to get a shot. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Jennifer and Brian!
