"Zoe our host was very friendly and accommodating. The place is funky and eclectic. The balcony/porch was lovely for an evening cocktail. It's an easy drive to Digby for dinner. The tidal river is interesting and there is a cafe right across the street for breakfast. If you are looking for a budget place, and are flexible, this place should fir the bit!"

"PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO THE APPROPRIATE EXPEDIA STAFF: First, you report to a Chinese restaurant in town; then follow their vehicle out to the location 3 miles away. No staff (or breakfast) at the house; you go to the restaurant for that. House is just a tired old grungy outdated house built out of cheap materials many many years ago. "This cabin met our needs for a private little spot for the night. It was fully furnished with anything/ everything you need. I was a bit let down that the cabin was part of a compound where there were other cabins that didn’t belong to the host and the area didn’t look like the photos online.. it was super quiet and a bit rustic but if you’re not looking for a five star motel, then it is a fun place to stay. "The cabins are nice and have a mini kitchen and a comfortable bed. The area is quiet and the stars are bright. The property is quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees. We were there off season and it was nice to sit on the front porch and listen to the red squirrels chatter and watch the chipmunks. It’s a good stay for 2-3 nights."
