It was so nice for when he had his off base passes that we could do it in a family type atmosphere rather than a hotel room. It made our family time that much more special. "Even though the neighborhood is a little sketchy, this cute home served its purpose for myself and my children. We were in town for the state basketball tournament and were able to save over $30 in parking fees since it was close enough to walk. It has a rustic charm to it. It had plenty of towels and sleeping space. I had no problem whipping up breakfast for my family. I'm glad they had a washer and dryer, too. "My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Verde. This clean, precious 1928 house is a mixture of quaint historical with essential modern conveniences. We spent a very comfortable 2 weeks using it as a home base while we visited San Antonio and our family and friends.
