"Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. "The owner was very responsive. Always love a code to access a house. There are a ton of stairs (as clearly stated) to get up to the top. The main room is nice and light with a terrific view. The kitchen had everything we wanted (electric griddle for pancakes), coffee machine, toaster, microwave, tea kettle for hot cocoa. There were tons of cups, plates and cutlery. We were so surprised that the old wall heaters heated up the house so easily, plus the wood fireplace, which was so nice to sit...

"Myself, husband, and kids stayed for 4 days in the heat of summer. There's no ac (we knew that already when we booked) so it works fine if you plan on being out enjoying the lakes during the day, which we did. I'd suggest having 1 or 2 more fans available for air flow. It was already pretty uncomfortably warm inside by 9am and another fan would make sleeping more comfortable. My only real complaint would be pet hair on all the furniture. We didn't feel comfortable sitting on the sofa or widow...

"We had 3 families of 4 with kids ranging from 3 to 12. We had a wonderful stay at Carson Hill. The house had more than we needed and was really well stocked. There were a lot of amenities for the kids to stay entertained all day. Location was perfect. The main grocery store was a couple of minutes away. We were close to Big Trees State Park which was gorgeous during the fall. It was also close to a nearby lake and logging museum. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. We look forward to coming...

"Cute cozy cabin with AC!!! Its like a condo apartment. The loft on top is a nice touch for extra space. 1 bathroom and 1 half restroom (toilet and sink). Great sceneries all around. The recreational center was our go to place for kidos to swim and play. Recommend to get away a nenjpy nature."

"We did not expect a 2 story condo with 1.5 baths, a kitchen and 2 balconies decks. It was beautiful in the pine trees and you could hear a pin drop. There was a gas bbq and a wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi. It is an older property that could use some screen doors to open some sliders and a few repairs with kitchen drawers that fell out. We should have brought salt, pepper, foil as we did not bring some of these basics. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would like to return again. "
