"We stayed at the Viking Hotel for 1 night during spring break. Since we were traveling with our 8 year old son the inddor pool was ideal. The room was spacious and the mattress was divine. They had several activities for the kids that included arts and craft as well as Movie night. My husband left his coat in the lobby overnight, with our car keys but was able to retrieve it the next morning. The hotel is vey clean not a super modern hotel but considering it is the oldest hotel there it is well kept. Easily walkable to Bowen Wharf and other shops. Overall we will consider staying here again. "

"We had the best family vacation! This hotel is in a great location as it’s across the street from the beach, walking distance to a delicious ice cream shop (Clementine’s) and a few restaurants and right near an entrance to the Cliff Walk. We drove to town for the shops, more restaurants, the aquarium and the sailing museum, but it’s a quick drive with ample parking (especially in the off season). We also ventured to the Newport Vineyards, a delicious spot for drinks and food and only 7 minutes from this hotel. We checked out the hotel pool which was nice as it was a cold and rainy day. Thanks for a great stay!"
