My 75 year old mother stayed for 12 days while her apartment construction was being completed.
The room is good, the location is great and communication with Paulo was prompt and extremely accommodating.
I would have appreciated knowing that the space, including a bathroom, is shared with potentially 2 other people. No shoes are allowed in the space, slippers required. No visitors. As my son and I were helping move my aging mother’s thing into the room, Doris let us know that no visitors were allowed, I did not feel that I could visit my mom or assist her with anything she needed. There was a smoke detector that chirped almost the entirety of my mother’s stay. The room was incredibly warm, when she opened her window she was asked to close it. She tried to close the vent but was unable to cool the space without a cracked window. When a flashlight was shined outside her window she knew her open window was being managed.
I can’t stress enough that Paulo was great to communicate with. His mom, Doris, while very nice to your face is a bit over the top and is a micromanager. The house rules should be posted on the VRBO page and not come as a surprise once booked.
