This is a wonderful getaway location for a group of 2 or a couples weekend. The AirB and B was clean and the area of the house was stunning. The owner was so lovely and made our check in and our check out personal and easy. Would highly recommend going at a time when it is warm and the weather is on your side!

Peace on Earth
This was one of the best places that I have ever stayed. The host were very hospitable and definitely took the time to think through all the details for our stay. It is a short drive from downtown West Jefferson, a short drive to the parkway, and several trails/state parks to visit. This place is highly recommended!

Wonderful Trip to West Jefferson
Kind of a last minute stay for us but boy did we find a real gem. The studio has everything we could have ever needed. Wonderful bed, great jetted tub and outstanding kitchen! Mark and Karen were both delight and full of helpful information. Old Barn Winery near by was our best new find!

The perfect getaway!
Charming cottage that is equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly want or need Spotless and very well furnished with a comfortable bed The grounds are amazing and offer many ways to exercise or enjoy the outdoors Close to shopping or outdoor activities Area is known as one of the best places to shop for locally grown Frazier Fir Christmas trees. Owner was attentive and available to answer any question one might have The rental process was trouble free Overall a great experience!

Beautiful space and gardens
Our hosts were outstanding. Communication was immediate and very friendly. We have decided to return sometime in the summer to experience the beautiful gardens in bloom. The King bed and linens were very lovely, top quality and really made our stay very comfortable. Views were excellent from the apartment but allowed for good privacy. We highly recommend this property!

Lovely, nicely appointed apartment/loft
Beautifully furnished and well stocked apartment/loft. Separate entrance (apartment is over the detached garage). The king sized bed was very comfortable! We were treated to homemade sourdough bread baked by the owner - definitely the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this lovely place.

Well equipped getaway.
Located in a tranquil landscape the well equipped spacious studio offered a quiet escape. Accessing local roads and venues was very easy, a drive to Boone or even farther is a reasonable drive. Special greeting of freshly baked bread was unexpected. Just pack your suitcase and escape to this relaxing and cozy retreat home.

Lovely setting. Close to town but quiet country like setting. Responsive hosts. Full kitchen. Comfy beds. Birds, flowers, wildlife, views, with a creek running through the garden. If this is available, don’t hesitate. You will want to stay forever!

A special getaway
Beautiful setting and owners, Karen and Mark were very gracious. Couldn’t ask for better host. Would recommend this place to anyone that wants a peaceful place to spend your vacation. It was nice to be greeted and welcomed. The garage apt is a perfect place for two to relax and enjoy the mountains. We traveled down to Wilksboro for Merlefest and the drive was only 30 minutes. And it is only a short drive to West Jefferson where we went for dinner one night. If you want to get away to a cooler climate, this place is perfect. I can see coming back in the summer to take a break from the heat and humidity of the flatlands. Thanks Karen and Mark. PS. The home baked bread was delicious.

Perfect Getaway
This was the perfect weekend getaway for my party of one. I was looking to escape the busyness of my normal life and this was perfect. The studio feels very spacious due to the vaulted ceilings and I loved the windows and natural light that came in. The shower was hot with good pressure. I loved that there were plenty of towels and blankets. The owners were very helpful to provide recommendations. The location is 15-30 minutes from anything you might need or want to do. It really is perfect. I can't wait to come back in the when the weather warms up.

Treehouse in a Fairytale
Karen and Mark are so gracious, very accommodating. Karen delivers fresh bread to welcome you, which is fantastic! The studio apt is exceptionally clean. Cozy, comfortable furniture and bed. Full size kitchen, very well equipped. We cooked dinner in and found everything we needed. Nice shower and jacuzzi tub in bathroom. The surroundings are beautiful plantings of mountain laurels, ferns, hostas and various flowers. Stepping stones guide your path to the entrance and only 7 steps to the door. The landscape gives you privacy when on the deck. They have a bird feeder outside the window to enjoying watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. It is lovely! Near to West Jefferson, Fresco churches, Blue Ridge Pwy, Jefferson Mt and New River. Absolutely would recommend for a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation.

Rest, Relax, Explore and Restore in this Stylish Studio
We could not have been happier with our stay at Quiet Studio Escape. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. The attention to detail and the thoughtful gestures made our experience truly memorable. We needed a quiet and relaxing weekend and our hosts provided exactly that; Karen and Mark are great. They were prompt, friendly, and it was great chatting with them during our stay. The studio, located close to the main house, was very clean, tastefully furnished, warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. The grounds are fantastic and we were encouraged to use all of it. We enjoyed the hammock, sitting by the stream, and wandering the gardens, which are beautifully designed; cannot wait to see them in the Spring, when in full bloom. Great location, easily accessible and short drives to a lot of our faves and great places to explore, West Jefferson, Mount Jefferson State Park, New River and the state park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Lansing, Glendale Springs - home to the Frescoes, and short drives to Boone and Banner Elk if you need to range out that far. We enjoyed our stay and hiked locally, lots of great trails in the West Jefferson area, and we are already looking forward to a return stay!

The is one of the most comfortable rentals we have ever stayed at. They gave a lot of thought to the layout, the decor, and the amenities. Although it's an efficiency it's spacious and allows for cooking, relaxing, and dining in defined areas. A very well outfitted kitchen too! And the host is a lovely person and a great resource for local eateries and attractions. We couldn't have been happier!

Simply Beautiful
If you are looking for a wonderful retreat with gorgeous views you will want to be here!!! Our hosts, Karen and Mark greeted us and made us feel at home right away. They were amazing! The studio apartment was wonderful, very clean and loaded with anything you needed. Our host had fresh baked bread waiting for us and it was amazing. We will definitely be going back to visit, friends forever 😁🥰
