Pool was nice Took 1/2 hour from airport There is a grocery and liquor store next to the hotel There is a Taxi stop right at the bottom of the hotel. 1/2 hour to go to Gambir train station 1/2 hour walk to the Mandiri Bank museum which I recommend, ask well as the other museums around. "The staff was friendly but calls to the front desk for extras went unfulfilled. The breakfast buffet did not feature sneeze guards and I witnessed people eating directly from the platters and then returning unfinished items to the platter. In our room: dirty and stained furniture, broken lamps, broken safe, and water leaking into the room during a rain storm!! This is a budget hotel in a bad area with nothing around besides a convenience store approx. 50m away. "

"The staff were great and the rooms cleaned well each day. The building though is a little dated and could do with remodeling. Outside was dirty and chaotic like most of Jakarta but this is not the fault of the hotel. Probably wont visit Jakarta again but if I did I would stay and the Menara Peninsular again."
