Stayed in West Harrison because we were visiting our son at SUNY Purchase, so it was convenient for us. . I would definitely recommend a rental car. The neighboring villages are charming.

"Very close to main subway which made it great for getting to city at all times of day. Rooms was very comfortable, though lacked a cupboard for clothes storage. Sometimes was a little noisy in hotel."
