Private gated community of Old Bahama Bay on West End Grand Bahama Island. This beautiful-tropical-decorated 2400 sqft 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home has beautiful tiled floors throughout the house. Two story home has all the modern conveniences for resort living. 55 TV with a variety of DVDs plus high speed internet. A/C with separate split unit for the upper floor. Master bedroom with king bed is on the 2nd floor. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and twin. Bedroom #3 has 3 twin beds. Both bedrooms are on the lower level and connected with a Jack and Jill bathroom. Both floors and massive covered deck have amazing views of the blue-green ocean and canal. Enjoy grilling your fresh-catch or various gourmet meals on the BBQ grill as you watch the amazing sunsets. Deck will accommodate a party of 8. There are 4 bicycles for your use.
The Brand New 75 ' deep dock has 50 amp power, boats up to 100 feet and 12th draft.
Electric charges for boats over 35' will apply. Fish cleaning station with water is included.
Customs and immigration are located at Old Bahama Bay.
Private airport at West End is only 5 minutes away.
Snorkel/Dive/Fish: all within a mile with local fishing guides available at reasonable rates.
Freeport is a short 30-40 minute ride to some of the best golf courses in the Caribbean. Nearby is also the Dolphin Experience which allows you to learn and swim with the dolphins.

Dirty filthy house
I would give a ZERO review but it wont let me. The cleaning lady was there and a man painting when we got there. We coulld not get in 4 hours later when we got in to the home no tv worked, no internet, never vacuumed Dust on the end table so we could write our names. Hair all over the floors in the tub, sinks black mold in toilets. The cleaning lady was sent back to us she said they dont own a vacuum at the house and never have then she only unloaded the dish washer from the last stay and cleaned the mold out of the freezer. Another lady came as well and hooked up the internet. The host phone number does not work. A boy named John came and took pictures and said the place is not ready to rent and will recommend to the owner we get our money back, he said it was terrible and felt bad for us. But never heard back from anyone. The outside garbage was overflowing. The Garage was locked so could not get the bikes out Day 1. John took them out day 2. DVD player sitting on the TV and no wires to hook it up. Oh the windows are so filthy you can barely see out. I have pictures of everything. Now to file a formal complaint with VRBO. Totally fraudulent information in the listing!

Wonderful home in a great location
Everything was as advertised. Very nice home with incredible views. We came from FL by our boat for 3 days of diving (5 adults). The home is clean, spacious and well equipped. Views are incredible. Host was very responsive when we had questions. Would rent again!

Great location. Nice layout. Responsive owner. Gorgeous sunsets!! Needs a little TLC.
We brought our 56' boat over for 8 nights. It worked out beautifully - we parked the boat right behind the house and it was extremely convenient. Some of us stayed on the boat and some in the house, but we mostly loved having a spacious kitchen to prepare meals and plenty of room to eat and relax together. A few things to note... As mentioned in a previous review, the dock paint has oxidized and the color of the paint gets on your feet or shoes and is then transferred to the boat. No amount of scrubbing or cleaning products has removed it from the deck of the boat, so we are hopeful that some time in the sun will help. We ended up rolling out carpets and leaving a pair of shoes on the dock and a pair on the boat. Beware of this. When we arrived, no one met us - which was fine, except that the owner had previously told us that someone would meet us. So there was some confusion when we arrived. The fridge had leftover food and was full of (spoiled) liquid from someone's fish, so the first thing I had to do was remove all the drawers and bleach the fridge. When I notified the owner, the housekeeper appeared at the house immediately and was very apologetic, but it was a little too late. We were never given a key. I asked the housekeeper for one and she said she would bring it the next morning, but never did. I was nervous leaving the house all day while we fished, so we ended up having to bring all valuables with us each day which became a hassle. Overall, it is safe there but we would have liked to be able to lock our stuff inside. There is no deadbolt on the rear door to the house and there is clear packing tape over the hole in the door where the lock was. There is one thermostat in the house and you can't adjust the temperature (understandably). It is located downstairs and was set to 71 degrees. The downstairs was actually too cold for the kids even with six blankets each and the upstairs was quite warm. We were just fine with ceiling fans and were never uncomfortable upstairs, but the people downstairs were freezing! The house clearly sustained some hurricane damage and there is a lot of peeling paint on the walls and there are even unfinished 2x4's nailed around the door frames where there was damage. There was an active camera hidden in the master bedroom drapes, which my husband quickly unplugged. That was very unsettling. None of these issues affected our experience much, but should be known to future guests. GREAT fishing!!
