"What a great find this hotel was. A warm welcome from owner Jay. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking spaces offered. Close to many stores. Nice en-suite. Two wonderful ladies preparing your made-to-order breakfast. 20 mins drive to Heathrow. "

"The reception staff were really helpful and friendly as were the accommodation staff. The location suited our trip perfectly . Although it was evident that effort was made to present the hotel well, unfortunately it was tired and in need of a freshening up, some furniture chips and broken ,carpets were stained and needed cleaning or replacing . Bedlinen and towels were clean and changed regularly . This hotel was really good value , just needs a bit of a freshen up . "

"Very good value for money, considering location and price. Clean but basic rooms, newly fitted bathroom which was good, and very friendly staff. Only downside was in the morning they had an issue which meant we had no hot water. They did fix it, but only at 11am when we were checking out. Could have done with another mirror in the room. "

"Staff were lovely. Room was disappointing even for a budget stay. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. They did offer to move us the next day but as we were only staying two nights we decided to stay put. Breakfast was good but space limited and therefore we had to wait some time for a table. Lovely location, quiet street close to Victoria Bus Station. "

"Very well located pub slap bang next to Kensington Olympia with very friendly and helpful staff. Decent rooms. Stairs are a bit of a climb with heavy luggage but nothing too serious. "

"Very friendly service! Very cozy and clean room and overall establishment! The only feedback I can give is that it was unfortunately necessary to use earplugs to sleep properly due to outside noise through the (closed) window. But, outside noise is to be expected in a city like London, of course!"

"Having stayed in Eton several times, always wanted to stay at Gilbey’s. Stayed in studio suite and it was fabulous. A safe area and close to Windsor Castle, shopping , many pubs and restaurants. Staff was lovely. Will definitely stay there again. "
