"The whole place feels really welcoming: staff, restaurant, bar, patrons and the bedroom. The room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was delicious and dinner was amazing. The only complaint is that we only had one day to stay here! It definitely deserves coming back to."

"Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist answered all of our questions. We discovered that we had been upgraded to a suite which was lovely. It was very well appointed although there were some areas that needed attention (dirty curtains and black mold on the bathroom ceiling). However the towels and bed linen were all clean and we appreciated the sitting area and coffee machine. Dinner was a little disappointing as there were only 4 choices on the menu and one wasn’t available. There were also some burgers that could be ordered from the lounge menu but that isn’t really what you expect for dinner in a hotel of this calibre. However we did enjoy the food we ordered and prices were reasonable. Breakfast was very nice but more fresh fruit and some ‘proper’ bread would have been nice. I also prefer a cooked breakfast made to order with a variety of eggs available (and maybe some smoked salmon too!). The leisure club was small but nice enough for a short stay. We definitely left feeling more relaxed than when we arrived so our stay certainly fulfilled its purpose! "

"The room was a very good size, clean and had coffee, tea and chocolate making facilities. We had everything we needed in the room. The food was nice and the service was good. It did have golf and leisure services but we didn’t use any of that. Would definitely recommend. "

"Stayed for a night at the Honingham Buck, easy check in, nice room and friendly staff. Took advantage of the cosy pub which has a nice atmosphere though didn’t have a meal in the restaurant as arrived too late. The breakfast was good, we would stay there again. "

"Sooo Clean and white fluffy towels. Comfy bed and fresh fresh linen . Duvet a perfect balance of weight and warmth . Breakfast great choice and well presented . Sunday roast was good ish but a little uncooked on the roast pots and parsnips -fabulous red cabbage tho and the enormous yorkshire pudding was a tad hard It was a small room adequate for one and a short stay Overall the good far out weighed the little niggles . It was a last minute booking so I was pleased that it was a very comfortable stay Loys of space in eateries Brilliant staff. Very welcoming . Just no lift up the strange levels a tad heavy for suitcase for an oldie but manageble . "
