"A lovely night stay - I was impressed with the spacious room I was allocated and the quality of the furniture and fittings. The room was lovely and warm. Breakfast menu was fantastic and a very good choice of items provided. The only downside was trying to find it as the postcode took me to a housing estate and I got very lost!"

"We had a lovely stay. Our room was spacious and yet had a really cosy feel. Our evening meal was absolutely delicious, as was breakfast. The view from our room was beautiful and we had a nice walk over Tarr Steps. We will definitely return. "

"The perfect bolthole I wanted to a few days away before Christmas. Somewhere wild and windy. Exmoor delivers in bucket loads. And I wanted somewhere cosy and comfortable to stay, which did good food. The Exmoor White Horse Inn was the perfect place. Attractively situated beside the pretty River Exe, my walks could start from the front door. A cosy, comfortable room. Great food. "Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests. Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic. "

"Nice comfortable room with adequate facilities in room. Not a lover of toilet brushes and the one in the bathroom was sitting in goodness knows what and noticed it as soon as entered the bathroom as the holder was clear - not nice. No tv remote in room and to be fair we didn’t request one during the stay as we got back late and didn’t notice until ready for bed and would have had to walk into the bar area! "
