"The property is wonderfully located. It is a nice historic house and the bedroom and bath are very spacious. The problem for us was that the tub is a high step over the rim and the shower is only hand held. Since my husband has double knee replacement, this was a problem and providing a step stool would have made life easier. Although I like a chilly bedroom at night, it was also quite cold during the day. The owner seemed quite put out that we mentioned these problems."

"The location is extremely close to all beautiful attractions. Walking distance to malls and historical places; chocolate shops. The stairs are so sharp and our room was on 4 th floor. I made a booking almost 1 month ahead and I am almost 60 years old. I asked them to give us a lower level room. No availability. And the toilet was outside. Make sure you don’t get the 4 th level."

"When you travel, and it's not "other peoples' money", you like to find good value. This little hotel is excellent value. You can even get an omelet or fried egg with your included breakfast. The owner is welcoming and gracious. I happened to use the desk and wifi and they worked very well. "

"I absolutely LOVED the stay in Brussels! Never been to Brussels before and I love it. The stay was fabulous with a gorgeous room that I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice. Great breakfast in the morning and they made sure everything was good throughout the stay. I would give 20 stars if I could. I do a lot of traveling and have not stayed in a better place. Beds were so comfortable, shower was some of the best water pressure I have ever had, these words sum it up: Amazing! Beautiful! Friendly!...

Martin even helped me get bubble wrap to safeguard my trinkets I bought while in Europe. The property is stunning and unique. "We rented a two bedroom apartment made of connecting a single bedroom apartment and a studio. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen living space with a sofa bed and a large family table. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave and stove. Everything to cook and have dinner for at least 6 people. "Really clean and comfortable and a great welcome from the hosts. Great recommendations for eating out nearby. They do evening meals if requested in advance. There are two saunas at the property which I didn't get to use but if I had the time, would have loved to. Breakfast was perfect. The fried eggs have to be tasted to be believed. I cant recommend this place any higher. Perfect."

"hotel was very central to the grand place - staff were excellent and everywhere in the hotel was spotless room was a bit cramped but comfortable and clean and the roof top bar was amazing our room was opposite a night club so was very noisy at 3 am "

"The Hotel Thon was very well located in the centre of Brussels, a short walk from the Schuman roundabout. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I don't normally sleep well in hotels but had no problem here. The staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful. I will definitely stay here again when back in Brussels."
