The 3 room duplex apartment offers 2 bedrooms with luxurious box spring beds, 1 sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, Bosch washer dryer, iron, 46 ”TV with MagentaTV & Netflix and unlimited WiFi.

The living room
This 3-room maisonette apartment in chic Scandinavian design offers plenty of space for up to 6 people on 63m² and represents a successful interplay of relaxation, retreat and the practical own 4 walls.

LIVING ROOM

The living room has an inviting couch that can quickly be converted into a bed for 2 people, a very cozy vintage wooden armchair and a great boho hanging chair.
In addition to the 46 ”Samsung TV with MagentaTV from Telekom and Netflix HD, there is our DVD collection, a Bluetooth soundbar, a variety of board games and some of our favorite books.
Via MagentaTV you have access to all media libraries, TV channels, YouTube and internet / DAB + radio. A dedicated Netflix HD account is set up and is the perfect end to an eventful day in the Harz Mountains.
Of course there is also free and unlimited WiFi with 50 Mbit / s for you in the 2.4 and 5GHz network.

Usually this is our own apartment when we are at home, so it is a lot more lovingly and comfortably furnished than "conventional" apartments.
So there are many plants, natural murals, our own books, cozy blankets, candles and lots of love in the details.

BEDROOM

The two bedrooms are each equipped with a king-size box spring bed (180x200) including cotton bed linen, 2 stylish bedside lamps, a large chest of drawers and a cloakroom. Blackout curtains are attached to the windows for undisturbed sleep.
WiFi is available in both bedrooms.
The cozy couch in the living room can be pulled out quickly to a bed for 2 people.

KITCHEN

The fully equipped kitchen offers a refrigerator with freezer, electric stove & oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, pots, dishes, glasses & cutlery.
For coffee lovers, there is a choice between a WMF coffee machine, a French press and an Italian espresso maker.
In addition to coffee, various delicious teas are also available.
The large dining area in the living room offers enough space for 6 people, but can also be pulled out. A high chair is also available.

BATHROOM

The bathroom has a very clear and bright design with many bamboo elements, a large walnut mirror by designer Ola Wihlborg and guarantees a successful start or end of the day with its refreshing rainforest shower.
There is also a hairdryer, a Bosch washing machine with an integrated tumble dryer, as well as a unisex shower bath (Adidas) & shampoo (Head & Shoulders) and of course towels.
Behind the washing machine you will find a practical ironing board.
The iron is in the vanity unit of the wash basin, as well as a first aid kit for emergencies.

PARK

We provide you with 1 parking space in the monitored parking garage "Altstadt" in our apartment.
The parking garage can be reached within a 6-minute walk and you can use our access card from the apartment.
(A regular parking ticket can be obtained for each additional car in the same car park.)

Access for guests
The entire maisonette is your home and the starting point for your excursions and adventures for the duration of your stay.

Other important information
The apartment is on the 3rd Located on the floor of a listed half-timbered house and only accessible by stairs.

SAFETY

A smoke extraction system is installed in the house itself. The apartment has a fire extinguisher (in the kitchen), smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and a first aid kit in the bathroom.

KURTAXE & WERNIGERODE ticket

A city tax is levied on all guests in the district.
It is € 2.80 including VAT per night / adult and € 1.40 for children (6-18 years). It does not apply to children under 6 years of age.

The tourist tax is NOT included in the room rate.

Included in the tourist tax is the WERNIGERODE ticket for each person, which you can use all public bus transport in the Harz district free of charge.

The ticket also offers discounts and vouchers at many restaurants, museums and attractions in Wernigerode and the Harz Mountains.

INVITE, UNLOAD, PARK

For loading and unloading, you can stop by car in the access road for a few minutes. Please park your car in such a way that the access to the "Café Wiecker" courtyard is not blocked.

Since parking is not allowed on the property and the courtyard, we provide an extra rented parking space in the monitored parking garage “Altstadt” free of charge. The parking garage can be reached within a 6-minute walk. The access card is in the apartment.
(A regular parking ticket can be obtained for each additional car in the same car park.)

IMPORTANT: An exit from the parking garage is possible ANYTIME. The opening times for entering the parking garage are as follows:
