"The pub itself is very good. Food and service excellent. Our room was very tired and inneedof updating. The worse thing was the bed, which had a coil sprung mattress which was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on. We were offered a room change for the second night, but it was Christmas day and we had to travel into Henley for the day so couldn’t wait long enough for a room to be ready for us. "The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...
