Never received check-in instructions
Horrible experience for my family New Years Vacation. We tried contacting host days prior to our arrival with no success, nobody ever replied to our inquiries, we were supposed to arrive new years eve and we have never ever had any issues with a CONFIRMED reservation, the last thing that came to our mind is that we were not going to be able to check-in into the property, but since we never received check-in instructions that’s exactly what happen on our new years eve after driving down to Florida for 12 hours with an 8 month old baby!! VRBO agents were not able to assist to contact the host, and not even able to find my another property to check in the same day since they don’t allow same day reservations! I had to pay almost double through a local vacation property management office to resolve our stay. VRBO agent said they will reimburse me and it’s been a week and still have not got a response after sending proof of receipt and credit charges. THIS PROPERTY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM SHORT TERM RENTALS, IT IS A SCAM! BEWARE!!

Budget option
It's a nice house, very big. Nice safe place. Pool looks good (didn't use it). Very good price. Comfortable beds and rooms. But it's new as a rental. There were few basics: no shampoo, conditioner (we left some). Sparsely equipped kitchen. No laundry soap. The light and fan switches are a mystery. Many switches do nothing. Others are hard to operate. We never did figure out how to turn off the outside lights. There are a few maintenance items (breaker box door, shower tile), but good overall shape. We asked the manager if they had a crib and never got a response. Other than that...it was easy in & out.
