The property was gorgeous with plenty of space for the kids. This was a family babymoon before things get crazy with a newborn and we all had a wonderful time.
nice location just the right amount of seclusion without being disconnected. love the covered front and rear porches. we will defiantly be back, hopefully in the fall to see all the trees in transition.
Clean with all amenities provided for a nice stay. Communication with the owners was great. The location provided privacy and security. Comfortable accommodations.
This was our 2nd stay here as a family and we were just as comfortable as before. Close enough to town for our shopping trips but far enough from the hustle and bustle that we can relax. The well furnished kitchen came in handy as we decided to cook dinner one night and had everything we needed.
We had a fantastic time at this place over Labor Day weekend. It was a bit tricky to find, but we arrived at 4 am. Other than that, it's in a nice, quiet, and peaceful spot.
We only live an hour and a half away, but it was the perfect location to bring the boat. Launch areas all near by. Would definitely go back!

The property is hard to find on long single lane paths. Very secluded! While it will be cute when it's done, it is unfinished. It was clean but trim is missing and there are electrical issues.
Advertisement says Kevin rental at Red River Gorge you are 40 minutes away with very disappointed
The cabin itself was nice but the location of it really sucked because we rented a cabin for Red River Gorge that's not near Red River Gorge just 40 minutes away
Clean & comfortable, an explanation of how light fans switches work would help. We had never seen those type & the house was dark inside when we arrived. The first house you come to on tobacco lane looks very similar to the one we stayed in except it needs fixed or torn down ! We came to it first & we freaked out since it looked a lot like Maggie’s probably at one time. Farther from the main lake then 5 minutes. 3 guests 2 kuerig coffee pods! Fishermen need quanites of coffee & we had brought coffee & filters. That’s my only beef& I’m over it.
toilet seat was broken, no skillet to make breakfast, outdoor grill was missing grilling racks. finding the property took 3 hours because of lack of direction, in general a disappointing trip for the money!
Property is as listed, very clean. Nice size bedrooms, outdoor space is very nice - large deck with outdoor seating, grill and large side yard for kids to run and play. Ten minutes to the boat ramp at Cave Run, ample space to park a boat. Only issue we had was arriving at dark, the Tobacco lane road sign was not easy to see in the dark and it was partially knocked over. Tobacco lane is more of a stone driveway through a pasture and at the end is a pasture gate you need to open to get back to Maggie’s Holler. Again, we arrived at night so it was dark making it confusing, especially as no mention of a pasture gate back to the cabin. GPS directions do get you there. Cabin is nice, very clean we had 6 comfortable in the cabin (our party was originally 8, which we could have slept easily in the loft area). Bath towels for 3, so I grabbed cheap ones at Walmart rather than laundering. Trim work needs finished but that didn’t bother us. We would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely loved this property! This cabin was the perfect location for our stay, with only being minutes from the lake and off of a dead end road. There was a huge yard including a fire pit that we roasted s’mores in, and a large deck out back with table and chairs where we played rummy.
The inside was neat and tidy, very spacious and well decorated. You could tell it was recently remodeled and was absolutely gorgeous.
The cabin had all we could ever need to accommodate our stay including pots, pans, skillets, and a washer and dryer.
The bottom floor contained a bedroom, and upstairs there are 2 more which was perfect for our family!
Upon arrival the property was very clean, and easy to locate.
When I had a question, the owners were super easy to get ahold of and helped me within minutes.
We have stayed in a location closer to the interstate, yet we prefer this booking! It felt like we were at home.
We would recommend this location to anyone!
Thanks!
Loved the place. Nothing fancy but that’s what we needed. I’m trying to teach my grand children if they loose the electronics they would find themselves and that’s just what they did. Even though we were there for a few days it’s was the best days anyone could have. Being outside enjoying what nature has to offer. The house sent to far away from Daniel Boone national forest. We found the lake in which they could go swimming and the grocery store is a little bit of a distance but nothing crazy. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is in the welcoming packet in the fridge maybe put in there where the gas station dollar general and grocery stores are it would be a lot more helpful to out of t owners. We definitely will be back there maybe they lived the place as did I. Thank you for opening your home to us
Super cute property. Pretty far out from main roads, so my Jeep Wrangler was helpful. All the things that you would want were there-firewood, card games, ice trays, adirondack chairs, fire pit. It was really nicely outfitted for a super chill relaxing weekend.
