Beautiful views
The house’s views are stunning and we enjoyed its close location to many trails to walk around with our dog. The house definitely is not as updated as the photos portrayed but it wasn’t a huge issue for us. Bring your own water as well! The water jug was empty when we arrived and luckily we had plenty of water with us because everything from the taps were saltwater, including the shower.

The house is beautifully situated with water views from all rooms. However, the property is in need of extensive renovations especially the bathrooms and the floors in the common areas.

Beautiful home, amazing views
We had four adults and four teens at this lovely home for a week. The house was well stocked with many of the basics you need upon checkin, like all the dishes/pots/glassware/silverware you’d expect at a rental, plus dishwasher soap, toilet paper, a couple hand towels, and bath towels…but make sure you bring hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, napkins, etc. I didn’t expect any of that to be there but just a tip in case you do. The bed and pillows in the master rooms were really comfortable and kids had no complaints with their rooms. The jewel of this rental is the location and those water views–simply spectacular! Highly recommend you bring or rent kayaks/bikes. We highly recommend this rental if you want the perfect spot to relax and enjoy all that Wellfleet has to offer. Wish we were still there!

Great view, lame kitchen
Gorgeous view from decks, common areas and bedroom windows. However, it is not on the dunes. It is above an inlet on the bay that is not swimmable. However, it is really fun watching the tide go in and out. Great swimming at freshwater Ponds, Ocean and Bay, which is all close but you need a car. The house needs some TLC. Lightbulbs weren’t working, no soap, no beach chairs and other amenities that would’ve made things easier. The kitchen was mediocre because all knives were dull, the drawers were old and hard to pull out, and only two dish towels provided for an entire week with eight people. If you live close by, you can bring all this with you but don’t assume anything will be there for you. Not what I’m used to in a Vrbo. But it was in fact, a beautiful week and the house was a lot of fun to stay at. The place could in fact, accommodate three cars if one is parked parallel behind the other two nose in. The management company did come Quickly when we called for a toilet back up.
