"Súper location close to Colombo Fort train Station. I arrive at 1 am and the staff was waiting for me. The building seemed to be new and the entrance and inside decor is so nice that I was not sure if I was in the right pleca. The room has 4 bed, very comfortable mattress and cool A.C. So far I am very impressed. I don’t know the name of the man in charge of the night shift, but he was very attentive and gave a tour of the place and answer all my questions about the location. 7 stars 👌👌👏👏😊"

"I showed up and they told me I hadn’t booked. I showed them my hotels.com confirmation email and receipt. They said they never received the payment even though I had the receipt. They then made me pay for a full room which ended up costing more than what the room I booked online was. I also had bed bugs bite my legs during the stay. "

"The hostel is in a great location, close to the train station and lots of great places to eat nearby. But that's the only strong point. Everything else is average at best. The place needs renovation, WiFi doesn't work, cleaning in the shared bathrooms could be improved. But the location is great. So if you are looking for 1 night near the station - this would do."

"On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. "At the time of my booking, this hotel was not actually completed. I went to the address indicated, only to find that there's no sign or evidence of any hostel at all. I called the number provided on my booking, to find that it linked to a hotel under the same owner several miles away. While they honored my booking, I really would have expected a refund or more from them. "

"Sorry to Sato that but unluckily nothing written on the description is real. The airport pick up is not included, the place do not have any beach nearby, the room has not private toilet, just one shared with other guests. No mosquito net. Raven no blanket of any kind. Only good is that is nearby the airport. But then, if you are headed to Colombo no one is willing to drive you there. The indication was: take a bus! Not suggested place to stay. Maybe just for a sleepover if your fly is delade....
