"The hotel is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. I have been to this hotel as a child and it was a fantastic hotel back then but now its gone down so much! The room was dirty and had a terrible smell.The room looked like it wasn't clean for years. We complained to the manager and he move us to another room and it was also very dirty and my partner showed the manager the dirty parts of the room and the manager agreed that the room is not clean. "Wonderful location next to the beach. Superb facilities and excellent staff. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay we were looked after so well by the very helpful staff. Rooms were beautifully designed and cleanliness 10 out of 10. Food superb. Cannot thank all the staff enough for making our stay so special. Absolutely recommend Taru Villa Bentota. 🙏🙏"

Gorgeous Property!

"What a beautiful hotel! We stayed in an exquisite villa with the beach at right outside our doors. The enjoy the sunsets from our bed was truly spectacular. A lovely and welcoming staff who catered to our every need. The food was good - but I prefer the menu at their sister property, Kayaam House. But Ahu Bay has THE BEST coconut toffee! Thank you to wonderful staff who were so kind and helpful, especially Nilanga and Kasum."
