"Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We didn’t use washing machine as only stayed 3 nights. Has eye level oven and ideal for the less mobile as everything on one floor. Cosy, comfortable lounge with tv and plenty of books to read. Would happily stay again."

"My husband myself and our dog stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting my daughter. The cottage is quaint and cosy, beautifully done out. Bed was lovely and comfortable. The host Rebecca was very accommodating and communication was great. The village is idyllic, we will definitely return "

"A beautiful property with bags of charm. It was very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts had left a lovely welcome basket and texted to make sure we had everything we needed. Well placed for visiting Rutland water and exploring the local area. It didn’t bother us but one thing to consider if you have light sleepers in your party: Inevitably as an old property the upstairs floors creak a bit which some may find disturbing."

"No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. "Booked a long weekend for myself and my grown up son to catch up with friends and family who still live in the area We moved North when he was 2 years old and is now in his early 20's so spent the time going to places he went as a baby. The lodge position was perfect as it was quiet but only about 20 minutes from everything. It was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed. My son made good use of the hot tub. are definitely considering booking to do the same next year."

"This is a really lovely property, lots of space with an excellent, very well equiped, kitchen leading on to a big secure garden. we were a three generation family with a dog and the space worked brilliantly.
