The public beach and cafe across the street was wonderful. The town of Weggis is quaint and charming. Mount Rigi’s peak is worth a visit with access directly from Weggis via cable car.

"Spectacular view of the lake from the pool. Spa and pool were wonderful and not crowded, so it was very peaceful and relaxing and loved that there were waterbeds available to rest on. The meals were delicious, too. Friendly and helpful staff."

Weggis is gorgeous and your eyes never get sick of the spectacular panoramic views. Dining is not cheap but the food is worth it. Not great for an 8 yr old picky eater though! Everything else was divine.
