"Heather (Owner) is great to do business with. So nice to work with the owner instead of a large company.Home was very nicely set up. Commercial kitchen with 6-burner gas stove and Waffle House size 3 burner grill. Two ovens, commercial fridge (side by side) and separate freezer. Also, a separate commercial ice maker located inside kitchen.Open garage style roof at entrance to load/unload and never get wet in rain. Then pull away and park in front of home.Beautiful view of river leading to lake. Only complaint for me was step drive to steps leading to water, but other than that excellent time with family."

"The travel up to the property was easy. The home itself is immaculate, new modern decor, perfectly functional for large families, or multiple couples to stay. The bedding is top-notch, all details were thought of in this home. The Lakeview from main and lower level was gorgeous, we arrived mid January for our stay, and there was still water in the lake coves . Alot of other lake properties in Wedowee are dry in the winter.We highly recommend this property and the host Victoria was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating of our family wedding weekend! "

"Hands down the best property we have ever rented. It was very clean and the kitchen is actually stocked for cooking. The layout is super convenient with the entertainment areas far enough away from the sleeping areas that people can rest undisturbed if others want to stay up chatting. The beds were comfortable and plenty of extra blankets, which is frequently not the case. Gorgeous view and nice quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was very clean as well, and warmed up for our arrival, which was a nice touch. 10/10, will be staying here again. "

"Our family found this home to be lovely, spacious and a perfect fit for us. Whether it was skipping stones in the lake, making s’mores by the fire pit, playing games or watching deer in the surrounding woods, we all had a wonderful time together in this beautiful location. It was close enough to Georgia to make a trip to Callaway Gardens where we enjoyed their Fantasy of Lights. The local Kiwanis park had nice hiking trails and a tractor museum which was enjoyed by all. We highly recommended this beautiful lakeside home."

"We cooked the entire time we were there--Thanksgiving dinner, turkey gumbo, grilled fillets....it was wonderful. Thank goodness for 2 refrigerators. We had one of the most memorable times with our young adult children and mother. We did late afternoon walks and saw deer and wild turkeys each time. Built a fire in the outside firepit while hubby grilled steaks. Had a roaring fire in the living room fireplace, while we all watched football for 4 days (hated to leave all that ash but we couldn't find a metal bucket to clean out fireplace). It was so remote and quiet we forgot what peaceful sounded like. The road was curvy, hilly and skinny but it was dry this week so no problems there. Both microwaves had their issues but we were able to figure one of them out. The lower level one probably needs to be replaced. The lower level shower needs some instructions on how to turn on but the host was very helpful getting back with us. Will definitely be back.....if they will have us....the pictures do not do this place justice. It was such a beautiful, cozy cabin. Thank you so much for sharing your home away from home. BEAUTIFUL!!
