Great historic property in historic Weatherford. The host is wonderful. Bed is incredibly comfortable which is often a struggle for us. Everything is provided and a quiet, safe, and enjoyable place to stay.

Lovely and Comfortable
We were in town for our granddaughter’s high school graduation. The accommodations were so lovely, comfortable, and amenities were perfect. Communication with the host was impeccable-she responded right away if we needed anything or any info. We would definitely stay there again! It is a perfect getaway! We didn’t get to use the pool because of timing and weather but it looked so inviting! Very quiet and peaceful.

My husband and I absolutely loved this property that is part of a well preserved and gorgeous Queen Anne -Victorian home. We needed an escape to focus on writing our novel, and we had the quiet we required in addition to the beauty of the property itself when it was time to come up for some air. Respite from the heat
Despite the searing heat, Top of the Hill was cool and lovely. The pool is just feet from my door and Ashley makes sure your visit is comfy. This beautiful Victorian is perfectly maintained.

Welcome. Charm. Serene.
This is our second visit to the Top of the Hill cottage and it is just as charming as the first time. It is such a quiet and calm environment created by hosts, Mark and Ashley. The little touches leave a welcoming mark on one's heart. We felt secluded sitting on top of the hill and enjoyed the variety of wildlife, including squirrels and deer. If you desire to stay at a beautiful and serene location in Weatherford, this is it!

Great Anniversary Getaway
We wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. The room looked just like the pictures. The place was immaculate. The property was just gorgeous. It was a little slice of paradise close to the downtown area but felt very secluded. We saw deer every day. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect property for two! We stayed 3 nights as it was close to a wedding venue for our nieces wedding. It exceeded our expectations- so very very clean, wonderful outdoor quiet space with pool and Ashley replied immediately to our messages! Cozy and Comfortable
My husband and I traveled to Weatherford to visit his son who had recently moved there from California. We have not visited this area before and were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful community. Speaking of wonderful, Ashley (Host) and this property were just that. Ashley was friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the whole process--from reservation to check-out. The property was as described. It is quiet, relaxing and peaceful. The room was clean and thoughtfully decorated. Snacks and bottled water were waiting for us upon our arrival. The grounds and neighborhood are so quaint. We will be returning and we plan on sharing this property with family and friends who will be visiting soon. Thank you Ashley for an amazing relaxing stay. You made us feel welcome.

In town but feels miles away
We enjoyed a long weekend in Weatherford. This spot was a great place to land at the end of a day exploring locally and also an easy drive to hit some highlights of Fort Worth. It looks like a great old house (my wife wants a house tour) and the guest quarters were exactly as advertised and made for a very nice stay. Highly recommended.

Sweet, clean, comfy cottage
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We enjoyed this sweet little cottage. Amazingly we were welcomed with a dozen of the most gorgeous fresh cut roses sitting on the dining table and a very sweet personable note from our host, Ashley. She was a phenomenal host who made us feel very welcome, went above and beyond, and answered our messages promptly. Everything was clean and very comfy. The pool and grounds were wonderful and the whole place has so much character. You feel like you’re out in the country, but you are right in town, which made it very easy to visit restaurants and boutique in town. We highly recommend this beautiful place.
