"Brilliant stay again at the Windmill. Dinner was superb. Room was quiet and well cared for. Like many places it could do with a spruce up but the quality of service and wonderful environment make up for any minor blemishes. Food was amazing. "Love staying here - fourth time, first time for a ‘winter’ break so could enjoy sitting by the fire in the bar lounge area. Great base for day trips to Brancaster, Holkham and Old Hunstanton. Fab breakfast. Enjoyed the pub menu meals as we had two dogs with us. And there was welcome cake and G&T in room on arrival plus quality Brew Tea teas which we could top up as and when needed."

Had an issue with the sink, but maintenance came straight away and found a make up sponge in the sink… not mine. Stayed in 301, what would make just that little bit better is a coat hook in the entrance bit and a shelf between the sink and mirror in the bathroom to put stuff on. "We had a lovely two night stay. We ate in the first night and the food is good pub grub. The breakfasts were very generous and tasty. Barry the landlord is a diamond. We would definitely recommend a visit. "

"The room looked ok but on closer inspection not so good! Bathroom had mould in the tile grout in the shower and the remaining bathroom was bare plaster. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The bathroom had some sort of sewage maceration system that would go off every hour throughout the night! Nobody knew how the tv worked!! Four remotes for 1 tv!! They then had to go out for batteries as nobody could get it to work! There were thick cobwebs around one of the pictures but the room was...

"Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. "
