Steps Away Cottage - Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Downtown

Summary:
This elevated, luxurious cottage is quite literally a few short steps from all that downtown Waynesville has to offer! Featuring a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, comfy porch and pet friendly policy, this place is perfect for friends and families traveling together. From the gorgeous chef's kitchen to the well stocked game supply, this gathering place has been thoughtfully curated to be a fun and cozy vacation destination.

The Space:
Each bedroom features a queen size bed, TV, and bath with shower/tub combo. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house with the living area in the center, providing plenty of privacy. There is a Pack n' Play and kid's toys on site, along with family board games and Spectrum cable. Water and food bowls are provided for your furry friend!

The front porch is a fantastic sitting spot for alfresco dining, morning coffee or an evening cocktail! The 4 person fire pit and hot tub are protected by privacy fences, so you can relax under the stars. Enjoy a night in grilling on the back porch and dining by the twinkle lights. Keruig coffee is provided.

The Neighborhood:
Downtown Wayensville is a 5 minute walk from the house. Some of our favorite destinations are: the Wall Street Book Exchange, Smokey Mountain Sandwich Shop, Sassafras Toy Store, The Sweet Onion, Wildflour Blue Bakery, Orchard Coffee, and the Blue Ridge Beer Hub.

If you feel like takeout, Uber eats and DoorDash are available. There is also a chick-fil-a a few minutes down the road as well as lots of grocery store options. We recommend our local Ingles.

Getting Around:
Easy walk to downtown Waynesville. 37 minute drive to downtown Asheville.

Other Things to Note:
-Ring security camera is located at front door
-Hot tub is sanitized before and after each stay, please read hot tub instructions in the house manual
-Fence is a privacy fence and is not enclosed
-For your convenience feel free to use any firewood onsite. If you use wood onsite please replace what you used for the next guest. Firewood is available at nearby shops including Lowes and Ingles.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We absolutely love the house and the town of Waynesville. This house is lovely and walking distance to all the shops downtown. The host is the best, very responsive.

Loved our stay. The layout of the cottage, amenities, the design choices and the quality of home were wonderful. The location is perfect and truly just steps from downtown. Little touches were included that made it cozy and welcoming. Will stay here again when we come to town!

Wonderful property!
This house is a very short walk to downtown Waynesville. It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you need! We especially loved that each bedroom had a television, the washer and dryer, the cute yard with the fire pit/hot tub, and the ease of check in. It was our first trip to Waynesville and we highly recommend visiting this town with its many good restaurants and cute shops and this property was perfect!

Great Place to Stay
Great place to stay. My wife and I planned a ski trip to Cataloochee and this was the perfect location. Just a short walk/drive to downtown Waynesville and about 30 minutes from Cataloochee ski resort. I highly recommend this place. The host was super nice and we will be back to check out spring/ summer activities.

Very clean, beds are comfortable, love the outside seating and front porch. We would have liked a regular coffee pot/maker rather than the pod, simply for the ease pf making multiple cups of coffee at the same time. Beautiful location, and just a block from main street.

Walk To Town Beauty
Brand new modern in-town cottage with hot tub. My husband and I walked almost everywhere from this well equipped beauty. A great way to visit this really cute mountain town. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to the area!

This place is great! It is located in Waynesville, so there is some noise, which is to be expected. You can walk to restaurants, breweries and tons of shopping places. There is a great meat market very close. This makes it easy to get a great steak for the grill!

Great location
Rented this beautiful home with a friend for a long weekend. It is beautifully decorated and the perfect layout of two bedrooms, two baths with living room and kitchen in the middle. The jacuzzi was a bonus after a long day of shopping. The house is one block off of Main Street so park your car in the driveway and walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.
