"Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. I was there for a JMU finction and it was in a great location, far enough yet close enough. Again the only issue is the dog smell,...

"The property is beautiful, comfortable (the beds are very comfortable!) and perfect for a relaxing weekend close to some great wineries. Randy is a wonderful host and very responsive. It was hard to leave and we hope to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location."

The location can’t be beat, literally right across the road from Devils Backbone and if you’re doing the 151 brewery and winery thing, this is your spot!"
