"It was a last minute decision to stop and look for a nice hotel while traveling. I looked on Hotels.com and decided on this Comfort Suites based on general appearance and very reasonable rate. The hotel looked very clean and nice when I walked in and confirmed my booking. I was pleasantly greeted by the gentleman at the front desk. The room was rather well equipped and better than I had expected. The bed was very comfortable with many pillows to select. The bathroom was well stocked with clean towels, special new type soap and an actual paper seal on the toilet seat. That was a first for me and I travel a lot. The breakfast included was a very well equipped offering of foods and drinks. Much better than average. Not the best I've seen but a real breakfast with food prepared in a kitchen and brought out for the guests. There was 1 hour left for the breakfast offering and a nice lady asked me if I wanted more fresh bacon since it almost all gone. I said it was not necessary, but I had a good healthy breakfast of egg omlette, bagel toasted, yogurt, OJ, bacon freshly made, and a fresh apple to go. Overall a place I would recommend to friends and go back to myself again. "

"The area feels safe. The outside of the building is under renovation or something. One we came inside, everything was great. Our room is very big and clean and the front desk staff is great. "

"When I arrived, there was a big group of noisy basketball players/parents/coaches. The front desk employee offered to move my room to the 2nd floor and gave me a quiet room away from the elevator and amenities. It was so quiet and restful. Everything was in good repair and clean. Especially the breakfast bar. Meticulous attention to upkeep. Customer service +++ Friendly, not just courteous! I frequently drive from Maine to Ohio and Scranton is 1/2 way. I’ll definitely be back. Bed was so comfortable. "
