For booking last minute, we were mostly pleased with our stay. The view from the back-porch is beautiful! Outside furniture is somewhat dated and outside work needs to be done on the deck area. (Nails were sticking up on the porch and our kids hit a few with toes) The size of the home is fairly large with layout of the beds being a tad odd with the largest sizes together downstairs in one room and smallest beds upstairs in private rooms. However, all beds were very comfortable. Direct TV was nice to have. One flat screen upstairs and tube TVs downstairs. We have Verizon and got zero service the entire trip at the property. Would pick up periodically on the lake. Kitchen was well stocked for a few days stay. Dishwasher had an 'out of order' sign on it when we arrived which was tad of a bummer with a party of eight. Really nice large refrigerator with ice and water. Overall cleanliness was fairly good, there were just A LOT of bugs. I know that's expected by the lake but there were obviously places in the home where bugs were entering besides the doors when opened. I was wiping down all white surfaces in the mornings... doors, sinks, floors, and window seals in the kitchen. All were covered with flying and crawling insects. There is a circular drive that may be handy for smaller boats but ours was too large to make the turn around. A very nice neighbor let us use his property to park our boat and truck on during our stay. The private boat ramp was wonderful to have so close, right down the neighborhood hill. Getting in and out each day was very easy.
The owner was very kind in all communication but I never received check-in or check-out instructions. We just showed up and hoped the door would be open. I sent a few messages days prior to confirm details with no reply. Overall, for a couple days lake getaway with a gorgeous view and the convenience of water access, we were pleased and enjoyed the restful stay.
